Repairmen,  That's a bit sexist Cammy.. Repairers?  A good idea just the same.

Are you kidding me? Do you know of one female amiga tech in the world?

Oh and I had an a3640 that was repaired by Amiga Repair Center in france and they seemed to do a good job and responded to email too.

I think the tech that Robert refers to in the thread is based in NorCal

Depends.. what is wrong with the A600, and the 2 4000mb's?

Regarding the 3000 you're referring to the front LED board?

Rich

Hi Rich

A600 i think needs recap

A4000mbs not sure they visually look ok prolly a trace or so..

and yes the A3000 LED board the leds came off should be an easy solder job

Kipper2k was going to fix the a600 but the shipping costs are silly. If you are willing to look at them I can send them along I'll take it PM from here.

Amiga Maniac - Sydney, Australia - http://amigamaniac.com/  his  email address  is  not  available  at present  ..i was  gonna enquire about the mp3 hardware for the a1200 ..as well as possibly   having a look  at my  ppc/040 accel ..any news  on him ?

Amigamaniac was a really excellent member of the community and provided some cool hardware sales and service. However, as of late (past 6 months or so) Nathan (amigamaniac) has dissapeared off the Interwebz... :(

Well the problem in the amiga community is that if a company has a couple of bad transactions among hundreds some tosser goes on amiga boards and complains and trolls and they look bad...

@Vlab

Sent you a couple of pms about repairs havent heard back.
