Amiga on linkedin.com
« on: April 17, 2009, 06:25:03 PM »
Hello everybody!

Just been browsing linkedin.com, a web2 professional site some of you may know already.  There is a new feature (for some time already) called Groups.  Professionals, Companies, Other/Non-profit/Networking etc.

The search against Amiga keyword returned... 14 results with the biggest group (AmigaScene) having 90 members(!)

So...

I think it's a good idea as such, some of people here know one another pretty much for years, that's a good reason to stay connected. Especially throughout the world, man. This is why I'm thinking of amiga.org linkedin group.

@ Wayne
What do you think?

Alas there is a slight danger, you know.  Some conversations might become appearing on linkedin, instead of here.  But my best guess would be approx. 20-40% people here is addressed hereby so I wouldn't worry.

I find it an interesting topic anyway - Amiga in semantic web world.

BTW MorphOS has zero groups yet, but AROS has one (with two members yet).
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

Ok, since no one seem interested anymore, I'll just make an ad of those groups.  I myself will pick up some most proper one and join it.
