Dear Amigans:
A few months ago I upgraded my GVP jaws 1230, from 16 to 32 mb ram (SIMM).
All this time, the amiga worked fine recognizing the 32 mb ram.
Yesterday, I turned on my amiga and now it only recognizes 16 mb ram + the 2 chip.
What happened to my extra 16 mb ram ?
Is this happened before?
Any ideas on how to fix ?
Maybe the second SIMM got unseated from its position ?
Thanks !!!

Quite possible. Make sure the simms lock in properly. The locking tabs can get broken.
Shouldn't this question be posted in Hardware Issues? :D

Guys:
You are not gonna believe this, but:
I just turned my amiga 1200 on, and the 32 mb ram is working again.
Everything is back to normal, and I can again use the full 32 mb ram.
This is good !!!
I just wish I knew what the hell happened...
Thank you all !!!
