I was stumbling around on YouTube today and came across this:

It is a walking tour of Commodore by Dan Schein and shows Commodore when they were still operational. It was shot for the Amiga Developer's Conference so it is mostly about CATS and related but it is interesting.
Now, I apologize if others have seen this but some how I missed it. I thought it was fascinating because the only other video of Commodore I have is the Death Bed Vigil.
I just found it fascinating...

Years ago when I was still on dial up I came across a video (not on youtube) of a Commodore factory producing C64s. Since I was on dial up I bookmarked it for the day I had more bandwidth.
Well I never found that bookmark again, and I've never found the video again.
My memory tells me the video was of a German factory, and the video was hosted on an Italian website. I'd love to watch it if anyone knows what I am referring to or are able to find it themselves.

In the video, Jeff Porter mentions a board called the 2350 PVA. I don't think that ever made it out the door. Does anyone know what a PVA would have been in 1988? It has something to do with video.

This board set occupies the A2000
video slot plus one of the internal Zorro
11 slots. It is essentially a digital video
effects studio, similar in its claimed ca-
pabilities to NewTek's Video Toaster, It
genlocks, and freczeframes and
framegrabs in 1/60 second. There are 2
RCA composite inputs, and one RCA
composite and one RGB output.
Switching and effects are all under soft-
ware control.
It looks like they killed the product when the Video Toaster was launched.

I too really enjoyed this video but was rather surprised at the lack of things to say and how laid back it all seems ,after all give a uk personal a mic and point a camera in his face and they would talk you under the table ,or bore you to death lol .

They show the actual building of the commodore chips at MOS technologies factory and such.
its all in german but well worth watching, the cool parts are later into the video.
Some good stuff on how the old hmos nmos process chips were made.
