Well, I played a hell of a lot Rise of the Robots with a friend of mine, until the early hours. Tis sure fun 'gainst each other.
And Supaplex is a masterpiece, if not the best boulderdash clone in existance.
you guys have to do better, way better, since there were enough gruesome games on the Amiga
Double Dragon 2 and Wrath of the Demon is quite a good start, methinks
