Interview with Ben Hermans

A new interview with Ben Hermans/Hyperion can be found  here ...

"Hyperion Entertainment and co are working hard to get the AmigaOS ported to the PPC platform. Ben Hermans (the managing partner of Hyperion) can be described as the leader of the project - he's very busy man but still agreed on doing a 'little' interview :) I hope that the following paragraphs fill some gaps and ease the waiting... >German TV

Great news! I hope they conduct the interview in English. DW-TV is popular in several countries because of its excellent programs, especially "Made In German" and information about German / European cars.

1. Commodore and Atari said they would come out with a multi-processing (NOT MULTI-TASKING), computer. They never delivered. They died.
2. Apple is in charge of the OS and the hardware.(xsept graphics)
Is the new G4 i-mac sell'n like hot cakes? They are not having a problem. They can hardly supply them fast enough.
3. I need a reason to buy a particular computer. If I can program in basic/sheep  then I'd buy an AMIGA. If I can manipulate a DV image by programing, and do editing that would be great. When you buy an i-mac it has firewire and i-movie that come with it.
