Description: This is a photo of my Apollo 1240 with a Maxell ML2032 coin cell rechargeable battery installed (uses a standard CR2032 holder). A diode is not required here. This is an alternative to using the standard CR2032 Lithium battery with diode mod. This has been under test now for 4 weeks, and I can happily say that as of yet I have had no problems whatsoever. I even left the machine turned off for 7 days and when I turned it back on again it had kept time perfectly. Composition: (Li-Al) alloy-Manganese Dioxide/Organic Electrolyte. Here's a link to the datasheet: http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/310103.pdf I purchased three of these batteries together for £5.98. The other one is going in my Apollo 1260 (still have the standard leaky battery in there...need to get that one done next :-).
