| WorkBench 3.9 running in AMiGA 2000 | ||

Description: Hi Dudes This is how Wb3.9 looks, currently, on my old-good AMiGA 2000. Its, basically, a plain Wb3.9 BoingBag 2, with a few hacks in order to get smoother window moving (and some eye-candy of coz). Im proud of the machine, since this unit has been serving myself since 87, almost in non-stop order, and its still shapetasting, sweet old-skull look-and-feel, and its still fast (well, you can see most of its config in the ShowBoards app window) Sadly, since Im in europe, my machine will never ever reach the High-Quality Military Specs, set by Doomy ( remember, he worked for Commodore, Ainc and Hyperion ):-D Regards -FrankB Picture Stats: Views: 2802 Filesize: 90.93kB Height: 768 Width: 1024 Posted by: FrankBrana at October 07, 2005, 12:05:29 AM Image Linking Codes

All big box Amigas has ISA slots, but they are aimed for use ISA cards with a bridgeboard ( which plugs in one full lenght zorro slot ) I mean, the ISA slots are there, but they´re only accesible from the PC side ( once the bridgeboard is plugged, and only by PC software ). Anyway, there is one exception and you can get running an ISA NE2000 ethernet card from the Amiga side, by using this http://de4.aminet.net/hard/drivr/Etherbridge12.lha Just follow the instructions Regards |

I'm asking this because there ARE ISA slots in my A4000... I'd *really* love details about 16bit-ISA uses on Zorro Amigas. |

I keep this machine full mantained, both externally and internally (I used to work as electronic repairman) Under my A2k case you will find: -Full ECS chipset, Rom 3.1 and 1.3, with a rom switcher -Blizzard 2040, upgraded to 2060 at 64 mhz -128 60ns Fast ram -MultiFace 3 card -Cybervision 64 3D -Tandem IDE -C= Bridgeboard -ISA ethernet (All ISA slots in mobbo are full 16 bit) -Lithium Battery -350Watts ATX PSU fitted in the original PSU case -Color CVBS output card C= A2032 -8 Gb Quantum Fast SCSI 2 drive -250 Mb Fujistsu MO drive -68000 to clockport adapter -Subway USB card -HD floppy drive And externally a scsi tower with Ultraplex 40x and Yamaha 16 burner I made the interface to connect an external scandoubler to the internal switcher of the Cv643D, but im too lazy to setup it up :-D Anyway I prefer to see the non-rtg demos on the 21" tv via RGB |
