installed on a bootable partition (CDH0:), set the:

set bootdevice "bootdevice=CDH0:"

tryed the resetlevel 1 or 7 but i'm still at this error:

"startup  Failed returncode 10"

erm . . suggestions? :-)

Config: CSPPC-CVPPC

Same thing happened to me. You need to put copies of your 680x0-libraries (68040.library 68060.library and so on) in CDH0:libs
Use resetlevel 5

Works great for me :) now, if I just just get some sound from my DelfinaPlus.... and perhaps some interesting software running, like a TCP/IP stack...

I think his point was : It is posted as News. Why are people posting in a forum topic instead of posting comments to the news article?

Because you can't click "reply" in a news item. :lol:

Woah, I had no idea anyone would be willing to give theirs up! If I had £300 (or rather $542) I'd do it in a heartbeat! Of course the other half of my statement, being NEW ones as well, still holds true.

So I too say "HEY ELBOX! NO MORE EXCUSES! RELEASE THE SHARK!"

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.

 Yes. In my case, it feels slower that AmigaOS 3.x, which is very strange because MOS ic PPC native... Any ideas why?
 It could be that i'm using a 68k file system, or maybe not. I will try SFS_MOS later. Atm, i am a bit disappointed.

 VERY weird, indeed! Sometimes i have to start the system monitor to get a desent speed, sometimes i don't.
 I think that you must report this to the MOS developing team.

 Btw, i've never manage to make MOS 0.4 to work, so i want to ask you how fast V0.4 is, compared to this one?

 PS: Another very annoying thing is that internet access is extremely slow for me (using miami). The downloading speed is not even half of the speed when i'm using AOS. It's practicaly unusable for dial-up connections... :(

MorphOS relies heavily on features of advanced chipsets, it would also be unbereably slow because of heavy alpha (that's already a problem on BVision).

 @DJBase
I see. :(

 About the ambient desktop: Maybe it's too early for me to speak, since i'm testing it for 2 days only. Ambient looks like a wonderful eye candy but it doesn't appear to be a very functional enviroment. Even the standard Workbench 3.9 is far better as functionality is concerned. I mean, just compare the menus of these 2 enviroments to get an idea of what i'm talking.
 Who cares if workbench is uglier. Personally i dislike eye candies.

 I hope AOS4 will be faster and better.

Next step. . . SFS native, YAM MOS native and so.

Just a question . . . i've used MiamiDX and its OK (slow but ok)

I would like to use GenesisRA . .  . is this possible?

It doesn't works with ClassAct (needs resource.library ver1)

GenesisRA is not possible, cause it uses ReAction classes, but you can download Genesis MUI version from Aminet and use it (I just copied the keyfile from OS3.9)

Is GenesisRA shipped with AmigaOS 3.9? If it is then resource.library probably is on your AmigaOS partition too?

@AmigaMance

You can use Workbench 68k in MorphOS too but I dont remember if old tricks work anylonger.

In theory if you disable ExtModules (fakerom, icon and wb libs), enable kickstart and use 68k LoadWB command you get original Workbench. Maybe :-)

Just remember that Miami runs in 68k emulation and that depends on how fast your PPC is. There are huge difference between 603/160 and 604/233.
