Blizzard 2060 Startup Sound Effect......

I don't know what the sound effect is. Do you have any links? Or at what time position in the song?

Gizmo, I listened to the song for two minutes and I couldn't hear it. I need a minute/seconds from you to locate it!
Anyway, why is there a sound effect on your Blizzard card? Mine never made a sound!

Edit: Oh, it's a Blizzard 2060 (I should have read the thread title). Do they all make a sound then? The Blizzard 1260 doesn't. What is the purpose of the sound?

did not hear anything that stood out at all at the 3:12 to 3:16 mark...

I do, something akin to sound effect from sci-fi movie in the background...

That's what hear too - a bit like an old 50's/60's scifi death-ray type sound, or a teleport type sound. It makes me wonder what it's doing in the song really.

Thanks for putting the effort in and uploading the Blizzard 2060 startup sound effect video! It is similar to Duran Duran, so well spotted.
It would be nice if you made some further videos perhaps showing off some software on that beast of a 2000.

Hmmm... I don't know, you have a lot of hardware installed in there. What software are you proficient with? I'd actually like to hear and see the Sunrize AD516 in action, possibly with its native software if you have it. Have you purchased or are you using any modern software? Show off some modern software if you can as well as some old goodies. Just a bit of everything really, even a few games if you like.

It's an easy mistake to make, it's not all that embarrassing. Anyone could have made that mistake, any one of us...

Does the startup sound effect come from the AD516 then or is it coming from Paula? Either way, I'd say the Blizzard CPU is likely driving that sound (or at least is involved in invoking it), so technically you're not wrong, not entirely LOL. I'll stop now.
