I'm selling my Pegasos 2 computer:
Pegasos 2 G4/1000Mhz with new processor module (2 months old)
1 GB RAM
10 GB harddisk (dual boot: clean install of MorphOS 2.0 and MorphOS 1.4.5)
Ati Radeon 9000 Pro videocard (the best card for MOS)
USB 2.0 card
NEC DVD burner (doesn't work with 2.0)
Multimedia tower
No keyboard or mouse
MorphOS Super Bundle pack
MorphOS 2.0, MorphOS 1.4.5 on CD.
Pegasos Manual
If the price is right I might also bundle Hollywood/Studio/Malibu with it.
This is for sale until saturday, then I'm gone list it on Ebay.
PM me with offers

Strange time to be selling a Peg2 system, unless you are going to down size and run an Efika? Do you have any problems with MorphOS2.0 besides the DVD drive not working anymore?
Can you give us a comparison review of version 2.0 compared to version 1.4.5? You know, pros, cons, general impression of any perceived speed difference?
Do you have any pics of your system that a buyer can look at?
It will also help to list where your system is located and where you are willing to ship to.
I am sure you will get several offers now that MorphOS2.0 is released and your Peg2 is the fastest way to run it.

@amigadave
I'm between jobs and need cash badly, that's why I'm selling. I can't afford to pay so much for MorphOS 2.0 at the moment and I hardly use it anymore.
I'm not selling because MoprhOS 2.0 gives problems. MorphOS 2.0 is very fast and polished, it's a good release well worth the long wait.
I'll put up some pics when I got some time, maybe tommorow.

@Tempest: you might want to give your location so people can guesstimate shipping costs...
-
@pkillo
I'm located in the Netherlands.

really? 9000pro is the best card for pegII ? I have a 128MB 8500 in mine, I thought it was the best... :-?
-
The Pegasos system is no longer for sale, I decided to keep it and register MorphOS 2.0.
@keropi
Who cares if your ATI 8500 128MB might be bigger than my ATI 9000 Pro 256 MB, get a life.

If you think that your ATI 9000 is the best card for MorphOS, then consider again...

Sorry, I hope you don't mind but I really don't care.

If you don't care once, I don't care 100 times. :-D

That's the spirit :-D

A wise choice!
:-D

Congratulations on keeping it!
Personal feelings aside what is the best video card for MorphOS 2.0? I don't have a Peg or an Efika so I am just curious.
I can say that my A1200 BPPC/Bvision 175-060 seems to "feel" faster with both OS4 Classic and MorphOS Powerup that my CSPPC 233 060 Picasso IV system. I assume I'm either just nuts or it's the Permedia card that makes the difference.

@Jeff
The MorphOS website says that they recommend 128MB of video RAM as a minimum recommendation.
http://www.morphos.de/installation.html
Given that it from the devs directly it would seem odd for the 256MB 9200 or 9250 not to be the best, at least overall. (Since the 8500, 9000, and 9100 came only with up to 128MB according to Wikipedia).

Perhaps the GPU is not quite the same. But given that the devs are pressing the point of RAM and the 9200 and 9250 are the ones that beats that minimum best it would seem to be what they are instructing the user base to be the best bet.

Ok, it looks like I have misjudged your post, sorry about that. My apologies.
-
no harm done , it was just too cruel LOL
-
Yes it was :-P
Won't happen again...

Do you have a minimum price that you want to go public with?? :-)
If the price is good enough, I would be interested :-)
