Seeking info about a tune

This is one of my all time favourites mods:

I have always wanted to know if this mod comes from a game and who's its author. I know about the Robotron coin op, though it seems it has been never released on the Amiga. Could it be a tune from a PD Robotron clone?

Any info will be appreciated.

Ok, found it (thanks to Skope's help on IRC who found the composer's name), it has been composed by Starbuck/Spreadpoint for one of their earlier demos (1990!):
