I'm sure the raw data still exists. After all, some content hasn't been transferred over yet.
I assume the old site has been archived and stored in its original form?
Not sure what you mean by "original form". I'm sure the database and uploaded image resources all still exist. After all, there are no "web pages", per se, just the code that generates and serves them.
Yeah, i mean the database and the original code... should anyone find an old PHP4 server in a basement, and fire it up... the old one would still run, and be frozen in time... :-)
Personally, I'm more for writing scripts to convert as much of the old content as humanly possible
MySQL6 and PHP6 are in the offing and v5 has been standard now for years. Unless you host it yourself, serving the old content just isn't going to be feasible.
I just miss the old site.
Thanks to Wayne, Karlos and everyone else involved in making the transition so smooth. Amiga.org is better than ever now!New avatar to celebrate, featuring my new and improved longer hair

He looks like he's very stoned :-S
Nope, he's tired and fed up with studying!
Okay? I guess mainly because of the lengthy travel times?
Eats badly into stoner time, ey? *ducks*
Partly, but mainly because of the relentless pressure and never-ending workload.
