Title: WinUAE auto start into configuration?
Post by: XDelusion on June 09, 2011, 07:09:20 PM
How do I launch WinUAE so that I do not have to see the GUI at all, and it just boots directly into the Configuration I desire instead? I think I'd like to replace Explorer.exe with it as an experiment...

Disable "show GUI on startup" option on Misc panel and save config as default.uae or run WinUAE as winuae.exe -f configname.uae

Well hold on. I went home, tried this, and the damn emu keeps asking for the ROM files, EVEN after I pointed it to the Configuration file. What gives?

Disable "Start in quickstart mode".
