Description: The writing on this chip is: CSG 8372A B3 318069-0 5289 23 The 3 on B3 is subscripted. Or, is it just printed wrong and it's really supposed to be on the end of the next line making it "318069-03"? Anyhoo, is this a "Super" Agnus? If not, what is it? | August 24, 2008, 08:09:05 AM old post, i know.. but yes I have one of these in a Chip Ram Expansion board for NTSC A2000 (so far have not been able to find out the name of this expansion board) seems very rare (and its working). |

Though, really, from what I've been able to figure out about Agnus, it should also work in an NTSC machine. As best as I can tell: 8370 = NTSC Only / 512K 8371 = PAL Only / 512K 8372 = unified NTSC AND PAL / 1MB and 2MB varities 8375 = mysterious (some may be unified, others are NTSC or PAL only.) / 2MB |
