This is my Amiga 3000 that I have had for a few years and thought it was time to do a proper video of it in action and why it is so cool.
 :-)

Great video.

I fully agree that the 3k is the best Amiga ever made.  It is special, It was my second Amiga  I bought new, just after the 4k's were released.  I occasionally refurb one and send it off to a happy new owner.

If you can find a Warp Engine 3040 or a Cyberstorm MKIII, I would recommend these over others (unless you want PPC of course).  They fit the chassis well (never had a MKIII, but that is what I have heard).  You get fast memory, fast Disk I/O, as well as the cpu.  Unless your doing heavy math, the 040 is just a treat.

Worth reading concerning 3k and processors:

@Cluster
Nice!

I wish my 3000 hadn't been swindled by that con... Ugh!

I have to say, I think the 3000 is a unique system, with a beautiful case. I wish someone would remake a case for it, with CD replacing the floppies, and it being ATX or 3k compatible (may require different versions of the case)
My machines:
PowerMac G4 MDD 1.5ghz 1.25GB 10.5.8 & MOS 2.7
Mac Mini C2D 10.6.8 2GHz 3GB 250GB HDD
MacBook Retina 16GB 256GB SSD 10.8
iPad 2
Underground Gamer invites (a classic game site) PM

Need a part for a PC or Mac? PM me, I\'ll let you know if I come across it.

OS X trumps Windows on every level.

MorphOS, OS4 and Classic Amiga systems are the only ones who are real \'Amigas\', not that joke AROS or Amiga Forever.

I never had an a3000, only lots of 500's 1200, 1000 and 2000.

someday if I find one inexpensive, I will refurb one.

I think the 3000+ is going to be in the Netherlands pretty soon, so then I can take some photos of it.

For teh time I had mine it was great, but I broke it when I put a parallel device in the SCSI port (I was very naive about SCSI).
