FFplay SVN-r22209 for AmigaOS 3.x (68040 build)

Hello,

I compiled the latest FFplay for myself and decided to release it.


Changes:

* updated to the latest SVN
- no move a/v sync problems when enough CPU power is available
- new decoders: Bink, IFF ILBM, Indeo 5, WMA Voice

* added support for more error messages in the WB mode

* fixed a few bugs

Could you add support for delfinampg.device?

I wonder how low video/audio quality should be that 060 could display video and audio with decent speed? Delfinampg.device would recuce cpu usage.

This will not help.

You may try to play your video with "-an" flag to test if you get video playback at the full speed (i'm sure not). The problem is that FFplay doesn't have a good frame skipping alghoritm. Maybe this will change in the future, so you will see a nice in-sync slideshow with audio enabled.

Why it is so stressful to do anything for Amiga

Yes your 50MHz monster is too slow to play videos at the decent speed without frame skipping and as you can read this is 68040 build, so it's optimized for 68040/WinUAE, not for 68060, so for example mpegaudio decoder is totally unusable (because of the speed) on the real 68060
