Would be better to hear that the companies that produce the cards were actually interested in developing drivers for their hardware for Amiga. Won't happen as most of them don't even develop for Linux, but it would still be nice to see a company put real faith into the Amiga.

As long are they're prepared to provide the all the info needed for somebody to write a driver, it's a step in the right direction. :-)

Hyperion do the 3D drivers.

Does anyone know the correct link for Forefront Technologies as the one above does not work?

Wow, the site looks really professional.  Hope they do as good a job on the drivers.  The Radeon 8500 is what I'll be putting into my A1.

Good to see a dealer on my side of the coast too!  (There are a couple of them now)

* Forefront note: We were so excited to hear about the new Amiga, Forefront is developing the ATI Radeon video drivers which will be included in AmigaOS4.

WHICH WILL BE INLUDED IN OS4.0!

Sounds like the driver wont be a separate commercial product but INCLUDED in the OS!!! YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH!!!!!
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Sorry about that, we are in process of moving our website and it may be occasionally unavailable/slow.

It is indeed good to hear. But I have to agree with D@N and ask what about 3D Drivers. What is the current situation with Warp 3D?

I remember hearing it will take about 2 years to bring it up to level the same as DX8.

Don't want to sound like a miserable sod, but if AmigaONE is to succeed then we need top of the range games aswell as Apps.

This is of course an obvious question, and I'm suprised
it wasn't addressed on the web site. There will of course
be 3d drivers for Radeon for OS4.x. There's discussions
ongoing as to some details, but they will be available.
