Hi all,
I try to make the wonder Amithlon Run on a AcerLaptop, the hardware on this laptop is that:
Celeron processor
Chipset Intel i852GM
Graphics intel extreme 2 852GM/852GME/855GM/855GME ( its an 82852GM common)
Sound 828011DBM ICH4-M AC´97 by Intel
LAN Realtek RTL8139
Well maybe its not a bad config for Run Amithlon no? Its I hope Fine config
Now the problem.!!
I can setup and install the HDD and boot from there without CD very excited to see a 3.9 OS running on LAPTOP :biglaugh: .
And the updates what I try at the moment is that:
BoingBags 2 and 3
AOSXL updates
Amithlon Updates
Amithlon contrib (1)
and I have install the picasso96 installer.
Nothing more at the moment (no contrib 2 or 3)
The thing its I can´t Upgrade de EMUBOX.gz for the NEW_EMUBOX.gz on Linux Side because when I did then My Amithlon Laptop Dont Boot Any more :confused:
So please Some body can help me to let this beauty AMITHLON LAPTOP work with sound , LAN , and RTG ?
How I install the Sound?
How I install the LAN?
How I get the Graphics card work with diferent Resolutions?
I know this its the hard work of amithlon but sincerious I´m now confused about what to do and in what order so i ask for some help thanks.
A beginers cuestion for or how to install kernel4 or kerner310 whats its purpose its thats files what I use to do width its rename that to Kernel.sys and put in Linux side but really dont know just Try .
and my english its not so good them more problems :(

Well I follow alone then sooner or later I find the instalation goes.
Any way I want to ask if some body can sayme something....
When the people mind KERNELS 310 or 4 or F*** what ever what are then refer the EMUBOX.GZ????? or what??? PLEASEEEEEEEE
WHAT I MUST DO WIDTH KERNEL310 FOR EXAMPLE ???.

Sorry i cant help you, im interested on installamithlon on a acer laptop too but with no result, info on sites is a bit focused to people with average linux knowledge (its not my case). Try on another forum, this one is a bit dead for people projects like yours.

I downloaded both files and both where corrupted.
I do not know what went wrong.
