Description: I decided to apply this hack to my A501 as well, which was starting to leak! Good thing I opened up the shielding to check, the battery was starting to show some white fuzz on one end.

rkauer Posts:3263 | November 17, 2007, 07:08:52 PM I bet the box is more rare than the A501 itself! Nice hack, BTW. |
AMC258 Posts:877 | February 15, 2007, 12:55:34 AM The ability to have 1M total RAM was a really big deal back then! Just like having a 80M hard drive. I once had a Qantel computer that had 32k RAM boards bigger than A2000 motherboards. |

kd7ota Posts:1433 | September 27, 2004, 09:43:12 PM Nice. :-) I used to have an Amiga 500, but I never thought it had a battery inside of it, but by then my Amiga 500 broke... :-( |
