They used the EC060 which lacks the FPU (usually the first part to fall over at higher speeds). That said there was one bloke who discovered his 75MHz 680EC60 actually did have an FPU and it was working :-/ More than likely if the integer unit is stable at x MHz but the FPU might not be it is simply labelled an EC part and shipped. Perhaps he got lucky? |
