Giant Boing Ball sticker
« on: February 16, 2004, 05:32:18 AM »
Hi all

I'm currently in the process of cleaning up my A2000's case, so far I've sanded it back and I will be re-spraying it soon but I wanted to do something creative, I was thinking of sticking a giant boing ball on the top of it, anyone know where I can get a sticker like that or if they even exist? Thanks.

Take a look here
But the images section seems to be temporarily not showing images

Please don't use a big boing ball!!!

The boing ball is ugly, and the bigger it is the uglier!!

:(

@iama

Any better ideas?? I was thinking about a giant tick. Don't really know what else I can use, maybe I could use the KS1.3 screen?

Indeed - dont use the boing ball!!!!

Grab a nice "check - tick" logo from a kick screen of a 2.04/ 3.0 / 3.1 kickstart :-)

Nice!

 I say Go for the Boing Ball, those checkmarks really represent Workbench and Not the Amiga computer, it looks nice if you do it right.
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

@Kindred of Babble-on

 Well this way:  The WindowsXP logo represents the OS and not the PC itself......the PC might be a Gateway or a DELL

The CheckMark is best as the OS logo forthe Amiga.....and the BoingBall as the logo for the Amiga computer..................there used to be a time when the checkmark was a logo for the Computer itself, such as the A1000......but after that it was never used for an amiga again as far as some sticker on the hardware...........and personally this is the way I prefer it...I like a separation in logos between the OS and the Computer...........Macs have an Apple as their computer logo and a big X for their OS (or a smiling computer for their OS logo previously) and PC's Have the Windows Logo for their OS and what ever logo their Computer is.....................to me The Boing Ball represents the Computer....and the Tick or checkmark represent Workbench or Amiga's OS........funny I was discussing this verysame thing the other day with someone :-)
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

@Too much Caffeine (:lol:)

So that's your personal idea of what they stand for? That's cool, I just wondered if you had a historical reason for it.

I never really thought of Workbench having its own logo.

Yuck.

Why do you all like big logo's and stuff?

What's with you guys? Just get a sexy black case - no paint, no adhesieve labels, nice black keyboard and optical scroll mouse...

And of course a 21" Trinitron

That's the way to have a computer

And make it look like an IBM or Dell, I think not. The big sticker is supposed to add a little color to an otherwise plain "professional" looking case... :lol: :whack:
