Hi all.I just bought a pair of new pc speakers to use with my Phillips monitor, cos internal ones aren't working, and been trying to buy a Y adapter to split left+right audio output of me A1200 into a single stereo female socket to plug pc speakers into.Anyone got any ideas of a lead suitable+where to get it,only can't seem to get a match on E-Bay or Maplin??Thanx. :-?  :-?  :-?

I couldn't see the exact splitter you need at Maplins, but it's possible..

Get L32BA (2x phono to 3.5mm stereo plug)
Now either chop the stereo plug off and solder on a socket (RK51F),or get a female-female adapter (JK05F) and just plug it all together

Probably easiest to get the f-f adapter, although it is a massive 20p more than the socket  :-D
On schedule, and suing

I second what Doobrey recommended.  We don't have Maplins here but you can buy these items at RadioShack (phono to 3.5mm male plug and f/f 3.5mm stereo adaptor.  Works great with Labtec or other 3.5mm plug pc speakers.  Of course, plugging the miggy into your hi-fi is even better.

We used to have a local Tandy store that sold lots of Radio Shack gear+was a very handy shop for all sorts of audio+visual products, but sadly closed a couple of years back+now shop is an Indian restauraunt-not much use for Amiga users, well apart from a night out with mates though. 8-)
