The more I hear about making classic Amigas more like *IBM* clones, costing mega bucks, makes me suggest you save that cash by just installing Amiga Forever 6 on a PC along with a Catweasel MKIV and you have yourself the meanest full-featured *Amiga* clone at the lowest cost. Take it a step further and install a PC mobo and power supply in an A2000 case with AF6 and Catweasel MKIV, and then you will have the complete *look* of a classic Amiga along with the screaming computing power most pay in blood to achieve.

Does any here in US sells just the empty new A4000 case? I want it to look like when I bought it several years back.

There have not been any new A4000 systems manufactured in the last 10 years. So any case you get will be used from a previous owner/collector. Expect to pay viel Geld or mucho dinero.

-Matt H.: Thanks.

-KD7HTH: Bummer.

What about those 'new stil in box' Amiga 500's, are they for real? So I guess there is no brand new A4000 sitting somewhere in a store.

There are many refurbished A500s in the market since it was one of the best selling Amigas. Commodore went on to refurbish  traded in A500s in the early '90s to resell domestically and overseas. Several people purchased these A500s to use and/or collect making a collection of "new in box" A500s available today.
