Title: Is there a rift in the Force...Which side to follow?
Post by: zyphoid on November 03, 2007, 06:37:45 PM
Ok for clarification What is the deal with the sides The "red side" "Blue side" sounds like a movie script "Join the Dark Side..Together we will rule the Galaxy.."

It's a simple reference to OS 4 (with the red  boingball logo) and MorphOS (with the blue butterfly logo) and the followers of each.  You also have the black side with AROS.

Three AROS for the MorphOS-kings under the sky,
Seven for the AmigaOS 4-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for AmigaOS 5 Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Amiga where the Shadows lie.
One AROS to rule them all, One AROS to find them,
One AROS to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Amiga where the Shadows lie.

In case you are wondering, AROS is ring in plural in spanish. :-D
