Can't speak to revanche but SHut - I've heard of folks who've had runaway success dealing with them and then stories like yours.
Their catalog doesn't exactly fill me with confidence: they still have CSPPCs listed, and I very seriously doubt if they have them in stock...!
(Funny aside: Steve G., back on c.s.a.a on usenet used to point to SHut's catalog whenever the question of "Well where can one get one of these super-Amigas you tout?" came up.
