ADFs (Amiga Disk Format) are exact images taken from a real floppy,
and they can esily be written back, but only using a real Amiga.
I use a program called TransADF to do this.  It's on Aminet.

LHA is a form of compression, similar to ZIP, TGZ, GZIP, etc, but not
compatible.  It's commonly used on the Amiga, but can be used on other
platforms.
EMail me direct for copies of both Amiga and MSDOS executables of LHA.

WHDload is a utility for running older games from your hard drive
which were designed to run from floppy only.  You need the correct
"module" for each particular game, and there are thousands of these
available on Aminet.
