Just scored a nice load of Amiga stuff!
« on: August 16, 2008, 10:56:43 PM »
Been a while since I've had Amigas in the house, just scored this nice load.

2x A1200s and one A500. Flicker fixer, A500 sidecar, tons of mags, midi interface, Bigfoot power supply, buttloads of software and much more. I was originally planning on reselling, after setting one up and playing a few games, now I'm not so sure:-) I may have to keep it all..

I say that Red has to sell me one of those A1200s, to keep his reputation as a legitimate, Amiga Reseller!

Nice job red.  Another rescue of some very fine vintage Amigas.  I would hang on to them too!  :lol:

@tonyyeb

Amiga World, Amiga Computing, Amiga Shopper, Amiga Format etc. I haven't gone through them all yet, but I think I have all of them  :-)

As for price, very low. I got this offline from a private owner who wanted it hauled away. It is taking a lot of my time, it was several hours drive just getting it. Now testing (playing), sorting and cleaning is taking time.. Fun though :-D

Yeah, I'd enjoy one so I will probably keep one. I have just been real deep into C= 8bit last few years, and CP/M boxes as a secondary hobby. Adding Amiga again will cut spread out hbby time, but we'll see. This is *very* tempting.

I think one 1200 is partially bad and one is good. The good 1200 is what I am thinking about keeping. Interested in a A500?

Unless you got two Bigfoot PS (I need one to replace the one I gave away to a user when I migrated to big box Amigas), or some internal or side car controllers, I'd just want a 1200. =D I've got an A500 already just sitting here waiting to come across parts to deck it out with.

BigFoot A500 - Price negotiable  :-)

I also have a A500 HD (side car HD controller) not listed to the store yet.
