But does VLC support the eleventy billion different formats Winamp has plugins for? I can listen to SID, NES, SNES, N64, Playstation, Gameboy, GBA, NDS, Genesis, and a bunch of other formats natively in Winamp.
But yeah, Winamp definitely isn't good as a video player. It's just aces for music.
I just gave an alternative, VLC do not support as much audio formats as Winamp with plugins no, it has a decent amount of supported format but not near as much. On the video side tho it eats most.
Depending on what TS wand to listen to he can pick which one he likes the most after trying
VLC is quite resource light for slower computers also
We will see what happens to Winamp now when Radionomy has obtained it
