Yup, A1000. Had one myself for a few years. Got quite addicted to Amiga  :lol:

yeah definitely an a1000 i had two at one point. y favorite computers of all time.

a2500s are a2000s with an 020 accelerator installed in the factory. so think big and ugly

Actualy it's "The Amiga", it was called A1000 later, when A500 (1000/2) and A2000 (1000*2) were released.

It is definately a A1000 you can tell by the keyboard which the A1000 only has.

Erm, because it is an A1000  :roll:

BTW, Amiga-Hardware.com has a piccy of an A2500 for comparison.

I have since cleaned and refreshed the complete system.. It's now as new to the origional condition as I can possibley make it!
The mainboard does not have a Daughter board? I think it's a Revision 2 board for Europe(not a upgraded phenix?? type)
I have also just purchaced a scan-doubbler and hope to have it within the next 5 days... :-D
This was due to haveing pleanty of monitors and not finding a 1080 in good nick yet, If I come across one I'm sure I'll get it later on! :-D

Congrats!  Looks great!  I think the A1000 is about my favorite of all the Classic Amigas!
