Would anyone like a Buddha IDE?
« on: February 21, 2013, 02:39:32 PM »
I hear there is low demand and wondered if they planned to ever make the buddha ide again?

I would like to buy one. (my A2000 is down-no more scsi)

Please let me know if I'm the only one, if not I will pass it on.

Thanks.

Gary

(p.s. would like to buy one used, too.)

I already have one in my A2000.  I wouldn't be without it.  Great piece of kit.

If you're looking for maximum numbers then you might want to ask on AmigaWorld.net too.
A2000, A3000, 2 x A1200T, A1200, A4000Tower & Mediator, CD32, VIC-20, C64, C128, C128D, PET 8032, Minimig & ARM, C-One, FPGA Arcade... and AmigaOne X1000.

I wouldn't mind having a Buddha.

So +1 on the responses.

I've got 2 A2000s (in storage now).  One of them has the DKB Wildfire060 accelerator.  I'd like to get a Buddha card for both of them.

I'd like the new Buddha to be able to support the current SATA drives instead of the old PATA ones.

+2 here.

Scsi Card and SCSI-Flash Card interface.
I couldn't get an IDE CF Reader to work on my Buddha.

I've got one working in mine and it was a cheapo direct-from-Hong-Kong CF Card Reader.  The main issue I've had with CF cards is getting them correctly formatted.
