RuninUAE - Ran a game from USB, now it's screwed!

Hi folks,

I've made this mistake before & not using my A1 very often...I forgot & did it again.

Last time the only fix I could figure out was to get rid of RuninUAE & re-eninstall, but there must be a simpler way...
 
Basically, I ran a game from a USB flash drive & now every time I run a game on my HDD it asks for the flash drive & I have to assign the HDD partition the game is on (happens with every game every time, even after assigning the last time with the same game).

It's infuriating & I'm sure there is an easy fix, I just can't figure it out.

Can someone please help me here?

So I just replaced the entire "Emulation" folder from a backup before this problem & it's still asking for the USB drive when I run an adf...WTF?!?!

Now reinstalled files to boot partition from the backup & it's still happening.

Time to burn an Amiga in spectacular fashion!!!!

Maybe it creates an ENV variable?

Thanks for the suggestions folks, however I still have the same problem.

envarc does seem to exist in OS4.1 & assigning the games to RAM doesn't resolve it either.

Thinking I'll just start with a re-install of the entire OS. But knowing a solution would be great for next time I buggerize it! LOL

Yeah, that could have been it.

Already restored from a backup & posting again from my uA1 that doesn't look for a certain USB drive when running a game

Will look into that the next time I mess it all up!

Also the following section mentiones something about the choice to overwrite the configfiles when reinstalling.
