Microsofts Masterplan
« on: January 05, 2003, 11:43:37 PM »
The Register is carrying an article on how Sendo is filing (for divorce?) On not one, but numerous charges !!

The claim alleges - are you ready to start counting? - misappropriation of trade secrets, common law misappropriation, conversion, unfair competition, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, two counts of negligent misrepresentation, two counts of breach of contract, fraudulent inducement and tortious interference. Phew.  Quote taken from "The Reg"

Yep. Substitute "Amiga" for "Sendo" and you have next year's news.

Erm.....This is scary. I just hope Amiga.inc are being careful.....VERY careful!

I wish Sendo the best of luck. They`ll need it. Sue their butts into the 21st century! Microsoft
must have the busiest lawyers in the world. Its not a one off visit. They will have to clock on with
the programmers. Though with the quality of their software I think they only employ Lawyers.

@tony
There is one big difference.. AmigaInc seems not to be able to sue anyone (even weak opponents), so their chances on winning that are even slimmer than Sendo's. Ah well...

There's an interesting article about M$ here:

What the Future Holds for Microsoft

A nice interview with ex-M$ developer Adam Barr...  He talks about how M$ rewards it's employees for being obnoxious and how Palladium won't make software more secure (they need to sort out all the other problems with their software to do that), but probably will just be a DRM system (it sux) - among other things.

Just imagine the face of Bill Gates if somebody even tried to do to them, what they`ve done to others. I WISH!
