Your two questions are completely unrelated.  There was an optional 5.25" disk drive, but this was mainly for bridgeboards / PC compatibility.  AFAIK no native Amiga software ever shipped on 5.25" disks.  Why would it, when even the very first Amiga came with a 3.5" drive?  :p
