What roguelike RPGs are available for the amiga?

Anything to recommend in particular?

Is there an amiga version of Angband out there?

I am sure I had a copy of NetHack for the Amiga 600. it might have been a PD though and I can't find the disk to check.

There are a few different *band variants for Amiga, actually - Thangorodrim had a number of them, and I've seen at least a half-dozen on Aminet. Most of them require either an 020 or an 030, though.
Computers: Amiga 1200, DEC VAXStation 4000/60, DEC MicroPDP-11/73
Synthesizers: Roland JX-10/MT-32/D-10, Oberheim Matrix-6, Yamaha DX7/FB-01, Korg MS-20 Mini, Ensoniq Mirage/SQ-80, Sequential Circuits Prophet-600, Hohner String Performer

The one I specifically remember on the Amiga that I've been dying for a copy of under Linux for many years (I finally found it, but it still didn't have the cool icons that the Amiga version had) called Moria.

I believe it's this one;

Two I have found are

http://www.download-central.ws/Amiga/Games/M/Moria/

I am still searching for the PD I have that is rouge like.

Ah it's escape from mount doom I was thinking of. Would that be considered a rouge like?

there's a lot of fuss about what does or does not make a game rogue-like. The elements I think are most important are

Random dungeon
Single character
Permanent death (at least as an option)
Turn based

Thats pretty vague of course

I suppose Escape from Mount Doom covers most of that then.

Moria on Amiga (free on Aminet) was always my favourite.  The one that used bitmap custom characters for the graphics.

I think it might have also gone by the name UMoria.

I created a version of Angband 2.9.3 with custom "small" gfx for the Amiga much like the older "buggier" Moria. There is many improvements, IMHO, over Moria but not all gfx have been improved. There is extra sounds too. I never released anywhere else.

Let me know if you like the changes (my sister is the artist in the family ;) ).

Zangband on the Amiga is supposed to use a very awesome add on character set but I could never get it to work or the RTG stuff. I prefer regular Angband anyway as Zangband gets a little wild for my taste. The smaller gfx is more practical.

To be hoest I missed the rouges when I was using Amiga's. I didn't get into them until I was at college and I played with some of the linux ones. I really must get into them now I have a hxc to play them on.

Ive been on a really big roguelike spree lately so if you do, we should exchange thoughts and comments :)

Huuuuuge fan of Crawl (Dungeon crawl stone soup). Played Dungeons of dredmor, Doom RL and TOME too.

Just getting into Angband, as my first "classic" roguelike i guess.

Very keen to see there's a version on the miggy :)

I've been into roguelikes for a while, but I've never been much good at them :D DoomRL is the only one I've gotten even halfway good at.
