Hi To All AMIGANS
« on: March 29, 2004, 09:27:38 AM »
:-D  My first time to post on forums :kitty:
  Greetings...
I got an A1200/30 16Mb Rams. IDEFix with CDRW and 2G HD OS3.1.
Thinking of Expanding my options for an A1 or A mini A1 some day, if I could get enough cash.  8-)

* I'm Just wondering how will I still run those classic games on those new machines(A1)? If not, I will sure miss it.
* How about the joypads? Will it work also work?
Good day to all Amigans!

Not natively, but through UAE (the Amiga Emulator). Thus you can emulate all the custom chips that are not present in the new motherboards. You really don't have to worry, a G3/G4 is fast enough, so it performs well.

The Joystics (the good old ones) can be used with a Catweasel card, the new ones (joypads with analog sticks etc. etc.) can be used with USB ports.

Thanks for the Advice. Thought, I have not tried, or get the feel the speed of a native G3/4 yet. But tried UAE,for me, It's different from the real machine. :-)

I've been using a Sega turbo pad for a long time(It's the only thing available here). I'm hoping Catweasel is also comapitible to it. Thanks again  :-)
