It's Amazon. They won't charge you until the book ships. Zero risk involved, unlike many infamous previous episodes of Amiga vaporware...
That's what I thought - didn't understand what all the fuss was about. Just pre-order and forget about it until/if it ships. You won't pay until it does so.
