Someone a while back ported Lode Runner to the Lynx, runs fantastically too!  It was always one of my favorites on the Atari 8bit.  Jumpman and Boulderdash as well.

Good times.  In a lot of ways the simple game play was what made them addictive.  Not sure if it's due to getting older and so having less time, or they just weren't as good as they were back then, but for the most part I almost rather play 8bit games over a large majority of newer ones.

Lode Runner's Rescue... anyone play that one?

http://www.mobygames.com/game/lode-runners-rescue Kind of 3D Lode Runner... But, apparently there IS a Lode Runner 3D on the N64!  (even though it looks more like actual 2D in a 3D environment.)

I think Hunchback was called Quasimoto on the Atari (at least theversion I had was, that game was a pain...)

Doesn't look like H.E.R.O. made it onto the 16/32 bit systems.  http://www.mobygames.com/game/hero  Though there is a guy working on his HERO engine for the Atari Jaguar

Though very early stages.... the game was fantastic, can't remember if there ever was an end.
