Zorro II and A1200 mobo replacement - HELP needed
« on: February 02, 2016, 05:55:17 PM »
I need some help. I recently got old Zorro II and A1200 and they are "OK" shape.

As you can see on attached pictures coil on my A1200 mobo is total mess, also on my ZorroII board I need to replace... two of brown resistors(?).

Can someone tell me what to get? I can solder... :D

You might have better luck if you post the exact model of the Zorro II expansion board you have...

Those 'resistors' look like capacitors to me.

As the previous poster mentioned, it would help if you ID'd the board and gave us the component numbers you think are bad.

And, btw, why do you think its those components (and not lots of other issues)?

What about this coil?

I actually don't know it this Zorry slots are bad (it happen during shipping). As far as A1200 mobo I most likely will feed power using those Zorro slots so this coil can be (?) most likely bad :)

Yes, from the photo, you should clearly replace that coil. However just telling us "zorro slots" tells us nothing. What is the manufacturer and model # of the expansion board?
