Is this dead?
I said before I'll say again:
Create a contest restricting entries to pure OCS/A500 512k 1 floppy games.
Simpler games need less time/effort to produce. 99% of us are still working 9 to 5, so...

*PS* Just like MSXDEV does year after year...

My free time (what's left after 9to5, kids and wife) is being spent on iOS coding (http://www.hbstark.com/live) and playing with MorphOS on a quicksilver. I would If I could doe.
Nevertheless, the Amiga scene seems much larger and active than the MSX one. Maybe it's someone out there that could take this idea ahead (again, BTW), as you did in 2009 Cammy. What happened?

I just went up on the thread.
Why it failed (in my single opinion of course):
1) too short! A contest per year should be more than enough. Maybe one every 1.5 years. With that time frame and enough advertisement throughout the community, it would be easier to gather great prizes like a Sam board, a mac mini with MorphOS license or maybe an AROSone...
2) Restrict it, so, coding will be simpler and quicker.
3) get a group of people to help. Create rules for judging the games by a group of selected people. Voting, if allowed, should only be used as "another judge". Don't publish results before the final announcement.
