Post by: amesie2 on December 25, 2007, 12:52:40 PM
Found a lot of 17 ISA cards on Ebay for those with Bridgeboards.

LINK (http://cgi.ebay.com/Lot-17-ISA-Sound-Cards-Ethernet-Cards-and-SCSI-Cards_W0QQitemZ250171547148QQihZ015QQcategoryZ42305QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p1638.m118)

Not my auction just info. for those that might be interested.

They appear to be a handful of sound, network, and SCSI cards.

The ethernet one's are ok but the soundcards seem to be newer PnP 16bit one's which aren't perfect for bridgeboard like the Goldengate for example

Best to stick with an old 8bit Soundblaster 1.0 or 2.0

And there's a USRobotics modem, quite possibly a 56k.  That'd be nice to have internal if you need one.

Back in the hey-day of dial-up, USR was all I would sell.  They had the best connection rates and stability.  A little more pricey but well worth it.

I just threw away a lot of almost identical cards... btw, 16 bit Soundblasters work fine with a bridgeboard, I used one myself, and they sound a lot better than those crappy 8-bit ones.
