Unknown VideoBackup hardware | ||

Description: This little piece of hardware enables you to make a VideoBackup of your files on your HD like a normal tape backup system. However I don't know how made it (it most properly is a homemade copy of some commercial hardware for the Amiga). The problem is that I don't know what kind of software it uses, and I would very much like to get i running again because I have an old VideoBackup of my old HD back when i sold my Amiga, I think it was in 1993/4 I sold it. All my work from back then is on that backup. What's not on the picture is the SCART cable witch plugs in the Video, the phono cable visible in the picture is fits in the Amiga composite out, and the PCB fits in the Serial port. Any help will be great! :-D Picture Stats: Views: 3504 Filesize: 97.56kB Height: 768 Width: 1024 Posted by: nex4060 at January 06, 2005, 05:18:03 PM Image Linking Codes

Nope, just look at what happens to a nice clean signal when it gets dumped on to VHS tape... I hope the makers of this system allowed for noise and tape wear and tear! And I wonder if nex4060 got the data back?!?! - Ali |

Lemonty Posts:193 | January 06, 2005, 06:43:23 PM Looks like the Lyppens VideoBackupSystem. It's the only solution that I know of that lets you make backups to a standard VCR. Hmmm lovely macro photo of a cable thingie. |
