Description: New Zealand insect, not sure of the proper name but I call it a "leaf with legs"... Its camouflage is very effective when it's on a plant, less so when it's on a doorstep tile!

There's another little critter here (which I don't know if you also get in Oz) - it has a body about 3-4mm long, appears at dusk mostly, and looks like a small bug with a "bad hair day" (white fluff on its back)... Have been trying to get a macro shot of one of those, but the light outside wasn't good enough yesterday... - Ali |
