BinoX Posts:454 | September 20, 2007, 09:14:12 AM Quote Trust me, I've seen some of these freaks take out a second mortgage on their houses, just to build what they tell their wives will be a "second" gargage. That's probably me in a few years Although I'll probably try and do ti without the second mortgage bit first |

adz Posts:2961 | January 22, 2006, 11:31:03 PM Nah, its just the one monitor, probably should have mentioned that. I have others, but I wasn't going to use a different monitor for every setup. |
justthatgood Posts:579 | January 22, 2006, 11:39:07 AM @Piru Well you never really know. I've met some guys that insist on having a keyboard, monitor and mouse for every single one of there computers, and a place to put them. Trust me, I've seen some of these freaks take out a second mortgage on their houses, just to build what they tell their wives will be a "second" gargage. Matter of fact three guys come to mind One of them ended up becoming a recreational room. It got populated with couches, chairs, a bar, big screen tv so that the all the big game parties can happen in peace. Then they still collect all their computer stuff in the main house. The guy I worry about is the one that took what amounted to a four car garage just to have shelves of computers setup in it. I'm sure some of you have seen people like this that have similar setups at a smaller scale. This guy told his wife that he was going to use this space to setup up a LAN party room where he was going to charge rent. NEVER happened. In come the vintage computer collection, and some time in the next 5 months (or it might have been sooner) his wife took off to live with her sister. Don't know if he still lives there anymore, since I haven't seen him in over 3 years. The last guy actually made sense and used it to repair automobiles and make a little bit of cash, but he was just an Atari 2600 freak, so not much to really worry about monitors and stuff there. |

Piru Posts:6946 | January 21, 2006, 07:24:16 PM @justthatgood I would think it's the same monitor in the pics. |
justthatgood Posts:579 | January 21, 2006, 06:52:51 PM Man, do you have THAT many monitors? I would think it would be just hard finding room for just the computers themselves let alone a lot of monitors. |
