Title: Upgrade ROMs A500plus?

Hi,

I have a ACA500plus and an Amiga 500plus. With the installed ACA500plus, do I need to upgrade the ROMs in my Amiga 500plus?

Depends if you want or already have 3.1. if so get the OS3.14 upgrade kit..

No, according to the ACA500plus specs it has KS1.2, 1.3 and 3.1 built in to its flashrom, and if you have 2.0 roms in your A500+ then you have all three to play around with.

I have an original A500+ and I believe they are fitted with 3.04 ROMs.

What would be the advantage of the newest 3.14 ROMs?

Hi,

I have read your guide and was easy to follow.

If I understand it correct, I won't have to buy a physical kickstart ROM 3.1.4 for my A500+, but instead mapping it onto my ACA500plus?

I would like to use AmigaOS 3.1.4 on my A500+, but if I have mapped the kickstart ROM onto my ACA500plus, will it be stored there even though when I switch of the power?
