hard drive NDOS icon
« on: May 22, 2008, 04:47:10 AM »
I recently had a hard drive in an expansion box go south producing an NDOS icon.

First question: can I fix that without formating?

Second problem: Hdtoolbox on my machine fails to boot now (??) I'm sure I have used it in the past. I wonder if the two problems are related? i.e. bad scsi.device...

TIA

A3000 with 060  wb 3.9
using native scsi

 If you have Quarterback Tools or Disk Salv, run the program to salvage much data as you can.

 After that, format and put the data back.
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
