OS 3.2.1
« on: February 26, 2022, 07:35:00 PM »
Hi All,
Running OS 3.2.1 on my A1200 TF1230 excellerator.
Every time I make a change to the system or do a Cold boot my Commodities Library
gets corrupted. It changes size from around 7800 from my install file to around
21000. Crashes my WBStartup files and I have to go in and delete it and then
copy the original file from installs. Then Warm boot and everything is fine.
Any idea why this is happening? Would appreciate any advise.
Thanks
Brad Hansen

I dont have a clue but what if you protect the library (by removing the W flag to prevent overwriting) ?

I'm also stumped. Is there anything else installed on the system, or is this just a straight out-of-the-box 3.2.1 install?

Run antivirus software for a heck of it. I had this HappyNewYear96 virus corrupting my files and causing me lot of headaches. You can read about it in my post;

Who knows, maybe it will help..

Funny that you posted the same question over on amigaworld, got the same advice, but didn't follow it

Sorry, for offtopic, but I don't want to create new thread just for it. I can't create account on amigaworld (captcha doesn't work) and my very old doesn't work.

But on topic. Under 3.2.1 USB devices on Mediator are not identified using pci.info, however everything works... and ideas? Also, it looks like 3.2.x opens various Prefs setting windows relatively SLOW (comparing 3.1) on my 060? and ideas? Windows are "drawn" (fast, but it is not just a blink).

NinjaCyborg, Yeah but I stopped having the issue, and since I am not having any other
issue why should I dig into a problem I'm not having?
