NovaCoder Posts:1694 | April 22, 2009, 07:36:31 AM Can I have a puff of whatever those designers were smoking....pretty please? The specs were good though, kind of like a 1200 mk2 (released back in 94 it would have done quite well). |
koaftder Posts:2116 | May 13, 2008, 07:25:27 PM ugliest design ever |
Framiga Posts:4096 | September 15, 2005, 09:34:37 AM IIRC that prototype case, was made of cardboard (or similar) . . .isn'it? Cool :-) |
KThunder Posts:1509 | August 30, 2005, 04:39:21 PM please its not that bad it reminds me of these bug alien thingies you had to fight on panzer dragoon2 for the sega saturn besides praying about it probably wont help. GOD uses linux |

whabang Posts:7270 | October 05, 2003, 08:49:39 PM How many prototypes were made? I know that Petro Tyschtchenko has a fully operaional unit... |
Agafaster Posts:1175 | August 19, 2003, 05:54:43 PM actually, I hated it initially but it kinda grows on you - if only for the 'what if...?' value. I'd've bought one anyway. spesh if they'd got black keycaps instead of white, and black front panels for the CD and floppy :-D. It'd sell now with an A1-Lite inside, and a TFT monitor ! (and AOS4 o'course!) |

I think they would of been very succsessful I'ts not the sort of thing I would buy, but I'm sure loads(or heaps even) of people would buy such a thing. even for novelty purposes |
Casper Posts:214 | August 18, 2003, 01:37:46 PM I think it would look really cool if it was made in iMac-ish clear plastic with some cool LEDs and/or neon light tubes in there. |
downix Posts:1587 | August 16, 2003, 04:22:36 PM @you both Yes, the Walker runs. And I agree, I like the thing, I don't mind it's roundiness either. It's cute, fun and could have made Escom a player again, pre-dating the iMac. |
Croyzers Posts:49 | August 16, 2003, 02:03:22 PM Am I the only one that wishes that Escom had released the Walker? When I first saw the Walker back in `97 I was less than impressed, but I'm seeing it in a new light today. It's not as bad as I remember. If they were to shrink the case size a bit and square the edges, it could look pretty cool. |
