The
Amiga.org Link Directory is now live, and we need your help!
Between the forums, the news section, the image gallery, and everything else, the addition of the new Links section brings to a close the promise we made to bring back 100% of the functionality that we had under the Xoops engine for the last 8 years.
That being said, it's not without problems. Unlike forum posts which can always be relevant, and news items which should be eternal, the 300+ links we had in the old links page were bad, meaning outdated, or no longer existed.
As a test, I manually went through each and every link, and about 75 to 80% were invalid. Some sites no longer existed, some were retired but left online. Some hadn't been updated since the year 2000.
This is why we desperately need your help.
If you have a favorite Amiga web site (amiga.org notwithstanding), please take a moment to go to
http://www.amiga.org/links and resubmit it, so that we can have and maintain fresh data for everyone to use.
As always, any problems or bug reports should be made through the
Project ManagerThanks very, very much for your help and assistance.
