"
Ant sends word of a video posted today to the Ahoy YouTube channel: Doomed: The Embers of Amiga FPS. It's a history lesson of sorts where you can learn about the many Doom clones created for a hardware platform that was nearing the end of its life cycle at the time."

Wow, great vid!

Thanks for sharing the video :)

Thanks, I enjoyed it too! What a great trip down history lane, and in the very time period when I was finally able to afford my first Amiga. Aside of making music that was my other goal (as lame as that may sound), which was to own an Amiga powerful enough to play all the FPS' on it in high resolution and without slow down.

really enjoyed that. Was a few games I had not seen before either
-
Yes, have collected almost all of them - but the latest one, Strife, isn't familiar !?
-
Ahh, the good ole days.
-
Somehow they missed HereticII but they have mentioned all or at least most of the other FPS.
-
Well they did mention doom and quake and their variations.

Thx, got it. The PC version is 16bit, so goodbye. But on Amiga Forever - nostalgia rises!
